Xiaomi has announced the launch date for the much-awaited Mi 11. The speculations surrounding the date has turned out to be almost correct as a confirmation of the date of the events by Xiaomi is out.
The winter event will take place on December 28; a day earlier than the techno spies predicted. It is expected that we will see a couple of flagships: Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. There are also some rumors of possible launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro+, which should be treated with a great deal of skepticism.
According to rumors, both smartphones will receive OLED panels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the Snapdragon 888 SoC, from 8 GB of RAM and from 128 GB of storage, as well as 55W fast charging. The basic version of the series will receive a battery with a capacity of 4780mAh, and the larger variant with a 4970mAh battery. The main Xiaomi Mi 11 camera will offer three lenses 108 MP + 13 MP + 5 MP, while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will have a more interesting set of sensors: 50 MP + 48 MP + 20 MP + 12 MP.
It is expected that in China the basic version will cost $612, while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will be available from $811.
