According to a latest report, Tecno is working on a foldable smartphone. The device, Tecno Phantom V Fold has bagged Bluetooth SIG certification. It is listed with model number AD10. The certification website reveals that the foldable phone will come with support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
The Phantom V Fold is expected to be the first foldable phone from Tecno. It is also speculated to be the cheapest foldable phone in the market.
The listing does not reveal any key specifications of the device. There are not many concrete details about the Phantom V Fold at the moment either. We can expect more information to surface in the coming weeks.
Phantom X2 Key Specifications
Meanwhile, Tecno recently unveiled its Phantom X2 series in the global markets. The X2 and X2 Pro come with the same specifications apart from the camera setup.
The smartphones sport a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. The back panel has a squarish camera module located in the centre.
The X2 Pro features a 50MP retractable portrait camera paired with a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the regular model has a 64MP OIS main lens, a 13MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP depth unit.
Internally, the Tecno Phantom X2 series is powered by a Dimensity 9000 processor. The vanilla model packs 8GB RAM whereas the Pro variant has 12GB RAM. Both offer 256GB onboard storage and feature a VC cooling system. The Phantom X2 duo are backed by a 5,160mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
