MIUI is Android skin which Xiaomi uses for its Redmi, Poco and Xiaomi mobile phones. The company has officially announced the third batch of devices to get the MIUI 14 update. The company made the announcement on Xiaomi Community.
The list contains old flagships like the Xiaomi Mi 10 series as well as pretty cheap models like the Redmi 12C. According to the company, the update release for this third batch will be complete in April.

Along with the “lowest system footprint of flagship mobile phones” and “maximum app uninstallation,” MIUI 14 also includes a “photon engine” that has been fine-tuned for a year by Xiaomi.
The three techs that make up the photon engine — intelligent scene recognition, resource dynamic scheduling, and resource computing engine can boost the fluency of external programs by up to 88%. It also greatly saves power.
Along with refining pre-installed software, MIUI 14 also includes some Xiaomi system programs that can be deleted in addition to all third-party pre-installed software. Only 8 basic apps – phone, SMS, contacts, file management, system settings, app store, browser, and the camera cannot be erased from the entire system. Xiaomi MIUI 14 has reportedly returned to the top tier of Chinese UI. This is also essential to Xiaomi’s high-end strategy.
